Hi! I am Pricella Andreason, President of Kuddle Bears, Inc. Kuddle Bears is a non-profit organization, dedicated to giving comfort to cancer patients while they go through treatment.
Locally we visit hospitals, clinics, and doctor's offices to give Kuddle Bears to those in need of comfort and cheer. Again, we are a non-profit organization and I never accept money when I give a bear out. However, we do take donations to help cover the cost of the bears, shipping, and packaging. As of October 2001, more than 7,500 bears had been personally given out locally or mailed to cancer patients all over the world!! In November 2006 we had a devastating fire at our house. Our local newscaster did a bear drive for me and we ended up with almost 40,000 bears. This could not have happened without the hard work of Jeannie, Linda and Stephanie. Thank you guys so very, very much. After almost 11 months we finally got back into our house. At the end of 2008 I finally gave the last of my bears away. As of January 2009 I have given approximately 60,000 bears out and am now gathering medium soft and cuddly bears for all of the cancer events coming up this year.
